After the hugely successful completion of Kerala Club California's first session of Conversational Malayalam class, we are happy to announce the next session of Malayalam classes in the Bay Area.

[Important Note: First class for both levels will be on Sunday, October 2nd due to Ayudha Puja. All subsequent classes on Saturdays]

Level 1: October 2nd - November 19th 2011
Saturdays: 3:30pm-4:30pm
$90 ICC members, $100 non members
For children between the ages of 6 to 12. It is intended to introduce them to Malayalam, which is the official language of the State of Kerala in India. The goal of the 12 week program is to introduce the letters and commonly used words to the kids. The program, with the help of multimedia and a carefully created lesson plan, would introduce the language through making the student familiar with letters, commonly used words, simple stories and songs.
Level 2: October 2nd - November 19th 2011
Saturdays: 3:30pm-4:30pm
$90 ICC members, $100 non members
The Malayalam Language Program, organized in association with the India Community Center, is for kids between the ages of 6 to 14. The goal of the 12 week program, conducted on Saturdays for an hour, is to introduce the letters and commonly used words to the kids. The program, with the help of multimedia and a carefully created lesson plan, would use simple songs and stories and plenty of writing and reading exercises to help kids begin reading, writing and speaking in Malayalam.For children between the ages of 8 to 14. It is intended to build up on Level 1 and encourage the use of the language, by speaking, reading and writing.
